The Art of Seduction by Robert Greene

Detailing how strong sexual power can really be, The Art of Seduction, written by the man behind The 48 Laws of Power and The 33 Strategies of War, is divided into two sections. The first section delves into Greene’s 9 personality types for the purpose of the reader discovering which type they most resemble. Each chapter is filled with examples of others who fall into that category, and details how they used their personality trait to their advantage. For each type, Greene then clearly explains how to play up your most seductive traits, and how to minimize those that aren’t as desirable. In the second section, Greene explains the four phases of seduction: 1) Separation- Stirring Interest and Desire, 2) Lead Astray- Creating Pleasure and Confusion, 3) The Precipice- Deepening the Effect through Extreme Measures, and 4) Moving in for the Kill. Overall, the book is a valuable guide for learning how to get want you want by manipulating certain situations to go your way. In reality, this book is about much more than sex, and could be used as a valuable business tool for getting what you want professionally.

Primal Branding by Patrick Hanlon
