British author Matt Ridley presents at the TEDGlobal 2010 conference, about human progress and prosperity.  In Mr. Ridley’s presentation he talks about the human exchange of ideas and its effects on technology and the advancement of society.  In his though provoking presentation called “When ideas have sex” he says that “What’s relevant to a society is how well people are communicating their ideas and how well they are cooperating, not how clever the individuals are.”
